The
Dali Wireless family of multi-band Remote Radio Head (RRH) units is an
industry leading wide-band system designed to enable deployment of
distributed Base Transceiver Station (BTS) for GSM/LTE, CDMA/LTE,
TD-SCDMA, and WiMAX wireless networks. Built on patented Digital
Pre-Distortion (DPD), Crest Factor reduction (CFR) algorithms, and
patented n-way Doherty PA configurations, Dali RRH units offer a
breakthrough performance in efficiency, linearity and instantaneous
bandwidth. This advanced performance is delivered in the industry's
smallest mechanical package, with special attention to rugged design
and ease of installation.
The RRH unit is one of the
main building blocks of the distributed BTS. It contains RF circuits
for amplification (PA and LNA) and conversion, and digital circuitries
for baseband processing. The RRHU is located close to the antenna, and
hence helps reduce coaxial feed line RF losses, leading to increased
system efficiency, reduced cooling requirements and small physical
size. The RRHU is connected to the main portion of the BTS via a fiber
optic link based on CPRI interface. Dual optical interface enables
connection of multiple RRHUs in a daisy chain configuration. Placement
flexibility allows easy deployment of Diversity and MIMO configurations.
Dali's
RRHU advanced Monitoring & Control (M&C) capabilities enable
on-demand system reconfiguration, and remote upgrade (future ready
platform able to adapt new standards).
Features and Benefits:
- High system efficiency and linearity
- Compact, rugged and easy to install mechanical package
- Fiber optic link enabling daisy chain connection of multiple RRH
- Single, dual and multi-band solutions
- Evolutionary path to 4G via multi-mode capability
- Remote upgrade
